How do you know for sure that the summer holidays have begun? When the sound of not only “big beat” bands fills the courtyard of the Pilsner Urquell Brewery, the beer flows and the tables are loaded with delicious food – the Summer at Pilsner Urquell is about to begin. You simply won’t be bored here throughout July and August. Thursday concerts, which will be devoted mainly to to the “big-beat”, will be joined by concert Wednesdays. The courtyard will come alive with music starting at 8 pm; however, you can arrive as early as 6 pm to enjoy the accompanying programme, competitions and, above all, to soak up the relaxed atmosphere. A chilled tank beer will surely hit the spot on hot summer days.
The festival also includes an open-air summer cinema on Friday 22nd August and Saturday 23rd August and two September events – the autumn edition of the Brūstok beer and culture festival and Gambrinus Rock Fest.

What about the tickets and payment in the area?
Tickets for individual concerts are on sale online (you can buy them no later than one hour before the start), remaining tickets are sold at the venue. The capacity of the area is limited. It’s better to leave dogs and other four-legged friends relaxing at home.
Except for the Brūstok festival, it is possible to pay in the area only via a festival bracelet with a chip that you can get at the entrance for a fee of 30 CZK. You will top up the bracelet on site (via card or cash), and then you will use it for payment throughout the festival. If you have a bracelet from last year, you can use it again here, however, it is necessary to activate it for the same fee. If money remains on it after the festival, you can simply request a refund on the bank account online via the NFCtron app. The app will also serve you well for tracking your spending and topping up. Be aware that if you withdraw all the money, the bracelet will be deactivated, so you better consider in advance, whether you will attend more concerts during the summer, so you don’t have to activate it a second time.
