Pilsen Festival on the Street means only one thing – concerts under the open summer sky and club parties full of Czech bands and mainly a great atmosphere when the city streets will come alive as if it were for the last time. For nine days, the centre of Pilsen will become home to several music stages, which will be dominated by popular bands and performers of various genres. In just a few moments, you can visit all of them and choose the music that fits your taste best. The Festival on the Street is a great opportunity to discover new music styles and grow fond of artists that have not made it to your music list yet. You can also be sure of a well-organized and enriching accompanying programme, which regularly includes dance performances, workshops, public readings and activities for children.
Due to the ongoing reconstruction of the main Republic Square, the festival is changing its usual venue. The main stage is now located in the DEPO2015 cultural zone, specifically at the parking lot next to the complex. The second and also covered stage will be hosted in the former bus hall. Two other festival venues can be found near Radbuza River, namely in the “U Ježíška” area and the “U Zemníku” area (on the riverbank close to the DEPO2015). The attractive line-up on the main stage will include, for example, the musician Marpo, Michal Prokop Trio, Yo Yo Band, and the Pilsen Philharmonic.
