Little scientists and adventurers will be captivated by the interactive Techmania Science Center in Pilsen. You and your children can take a look at permanent exhibitions dedicated to individual sciencetific disciplines and try how the world around us works in a fun and understandable way. Those who are more interested in history can step into the depths of the city and visit the historical underground. Under the centre of Pilsen, passageways, cellars and water wells stretch to almost 20 kilometres. The underground labyrinth is the third largest in Czechia with its extent and dates back to the end of 13th century. A visit of 800-metre-long tour route is a great choice, for example, for hot summer days.
Are your children brave? Then they can go to the Museum of Ghosts and Fairy Tales. Together, you will take a look into the world of fairy tales and magic, run into the mythical Lord Radouš, water goblins, witches, fire dogs or dragons. In summer, don’t forget a swimsuit – the local swimming pond with a chlorine-free treatment is suitable even for anyone with allergies and for the smallest children, for whom there is paddling with water slide.
