The Lochotín amphitheatre will be dominated this year by a spectacular stage show of the JK Tyl Theatre in Pilsen. The unique Night with Opera will attract not only opera lovers under the starry summer sky, but also those who are looking for an extraordinary cultural experience. The exceptional outdoor performance concludes the theatre season in grand style.
In the following years, you can look forward to refreshing variations of the Night with Opera, which will alternate between opera, operetta, and musical. This genre was chosen for 2026, so the most famous hit-musical Mamma Mia! is planned for the end of June. The story, redolent of summer and the sea and full of world-famous melodies, has been created especially for the Lochotín amphitheatre, where it will be performed on three dates. The adventure on a Greek island, pleasantly spiced with legendary songs by the Swedish band ABBA, romance, humour and idyll of summer holidays, is directed by the former head of musical ensemble, Lumír Olšovský.
