For the ninth time, Pilsen’s Republic Square will be the venue for the running event of the month, with the start and finish scheduled for the neighbourhood of the cathedral. In addition to the half marathon, the programme will also include relay races, a family run and a children’s run. The race route is through the centre and its surroundings with a friendly elevation profile, guaranteeing a pleasant day of sport. Runners are divided into age categories and free transport to the starting points is provided for relay participants. The event also includes a running EXPO and background facilities for participants right on the Republic Square.

Categories
Individuals – Škoda FIT Half Marathon
The individual categories are divided according to the year of birth of the starters.
The start of the main race is scheduled for 12 o’clock. Competitors measure their performance via a non-reversible chip.
The race route leads through the city centre, through the Bory and Doudlevce districts back to the city centre.
Relays
Relay 2×10 km (length of the route: approx. 10.4 and 10.7 km) – designed for two competitors.
Relay 4×5 km (route lengths vary) – for four competitors.
Family run
A 1.5km route through the city centre – each registered participant will receive a bib and medal.
Children’s run
A 320-metre route directly on the Republic Square for children up to 14 years old – entry fee is 150 CZK, maximum capacity of 200 participants.
Registration of participants
Online
By filling in the online form by 18 September at 12:00.
In person
21 September – at the Techmania Science Center from 12:00 to 17:00.
September 22 – at Republic Square – on the day of the race – from 08:00 to 11:15.
The number of starters is limited to 1,500 per course – half marathon.
Only people who are 15 years of age or older on the day of the race can register. Under 15 years of age may only start with written consent of a legal representative.
