Did you know that at the Pilsner Urquell Brewery you can not only taste the legendary Pilsner Urquell beer, but also tap it yourself? And you only need an hour of your time. To ensure a flawless result, an experienced tap master will guide you at the tap. He’ll teach you how to tap the beer correctly in favourite Czech tapping styles, such as “hladinka”, “šnyt” and “mlíko”. In this course, packed with interesting facts, you’ll find out how these styles differ from each other and what influences the final taste and appearance of the beer. You’ll also learn other insights from practice from a true master of the craft. Because the art of brewing cannot be judged by sight alone, you will get to properly evaluate the liquid bread through more than one tasting. In addition to the delicious beer throughout the course, you will also receive a graduation certificate signed by a master tapster.
- You can also take part in a classic 3.5-hours tapping course, which also includes a tour of the brewery. The tour is not a part of the short tapping course.
