The traditional St. Martin’s Market will take place in the city centre on Republic Square. Just a few steps from the St. Bartholomew’s Cathedral, on the very first day of November, you will find stalls with original goods and all kinds of delicacies. Whether you are thinking about St. Martin’s wine, cinnamon “trdelník”, or other treats during this season, you can indulge in them as much as you like at the St. Martin’s Market. You will also see demonstrations of folk crafts, such as blacksmithing, woodcarving, basket weaving, candle making, and pottery. However, the hand-crafted products won’t be just for looking at. If you find something you like, don’t hesitate to buy it – it may even come in handy as an early Christmas present. Every afternoon, musical performances will also make your visit to the market more enjoyable.
