Restaurant Week: The Festival Full of Flavours and Gastro Experiences Comes to Pilsen for the First Time!

Where to go and what to try?
Nine restaurants will take part in the festival in Pilsen. Eight of them can be found in the city centre, while the ninth will be within the walls of the Pilsner Urquell Brewery. The chefs have created their festive menus based on fresh, quality ingredients, including a wide assortment of meats, seafood, and fish. Which establishments can you visit and what meals should you try there?
- Restaurace El Cid, near the vacant lot in the Křižíkovy Orchard park, offers venison ragout in red wine with mushrooms, grilled salmon with saffron risotto, and French seafood soup. (Křižíkovy sady 1, map)
- Prostě bistro!, which specialises in Middle-Eastern cuisine, invites you to visit during the festival for their renowned hummus, bulgur flavoured with pepper paste and onion and a side salad, as well as their perfected baklava and the traditional Arabic dessert Knafeh with pistachio paste and mascarpone cream (Americká 4,map)
- Imperial Sushi has prepared a number of delicious sushi sets, mocha ice cream, and mango-matcha cheesecake. (Kardinála Berana 14, map)
- Pizzerie Da Pietro entices with its legendary pizzas, creamy pistachio tiramisu, and homemade bresaola (Italian prosciutto made of beef rump from a young bull) with rucola, organic parmesan, and rosemary focaccia (Smetanovy sady 4, map)
- Da Pietro Grill will delight your taste buds with its set of three mini-burgers with homemade fries and a taste tester of Neapolitan street food. (Smetanovy sady 4, map)
- Hospoda Na Spilce, located in the Pilsner Urquell Brewery, offers roast beef, grilled sturgeon with potatoes, pork “TOMAHAWK” steak, and for dessert, homemade poppy seed buns with vanilla cream and malt. (U Prazdroje 7, map)
- Srdcovka Corso serves roast beef, grilled chicken breast, and grilled shrimp with lime and herb gremolata and fried polenta croquettes. You can then finish your meal with something sweet like apple cupcakes with pretzel ice cream, salted caramel, and whipped cream. (Kopeckého sady 12, map)
- Restaurace Beseda 1901 in the Kopecky Orchard park will enchant you with both its Art Nouveau interior and its selection of prosecco and gin. During the festival, you can try the homemade pumpkin gnocchi, vitello tonnato (thin veal steaks with tuna sauce and capers), and cheesecake with tonka beans and chocolate crémeux. - Restaurace Štipec, near Republic Square, has prepared a non-traditional menu – for instance, oysters from the oven with a parsley puree and buckwheat popcorn, sauerkraut from the oven with cider, caramelised onion, almonds, and roasted seeds, as well as aged chicken from the oven with chicken jus, shallots, celery, and potatoes. And for dessert, almond and poppy crumble or crème brûlée with lightly smoked cream. (Riegrova 5, map)

The price for the three-course meal is 490 CZK or 790 CZK (+ the 25 CZK reservation fee). As a bonus, each meal comes with a free Martini, with or without alcohol.
